This is contemporary fake (pre 1917). Not rare imho

That seems like an awful lot of money for a contemporary counterfeit which isn't rare.
Even if it were rare, of what numismatic significance would it be?
Or would the buyer take it home and have it cleaned and gold-plated, then try to sell it on eBay as genuine?

I would also say it's a gambling jetton, just looking on the style. I've shown a similar 5 kopek piece (1889) here sometime ago.
