Is there any write-up for this? I found a bunch of John Adams coins with this 'rippled rim', caused by the edge lettering being off-center and too close to either obverse or reverse:

I got to see my first John Adams coin in actual circulation today (I do have rolls of them). Guy purchased a 50/50 raffle ticket and paid with it. I made the comment "wow, these things are circulating" which lead to a nice discussion on coins. Kind of neat. He had no idea the vast number of errors for these.

What about a filled S in states on the reverse. The first S. Obverse has a die Crack at the tip of N in President. Any word on this??????
