The love token thread was great and got me thinking, are there any CoinPeople out there with hobo nickels? I don't have any yet but I love them and would love to see some of your examples!

One of our fellow CPers makes his own. I can't remember his name because he only comes on once every two months or so. You can find some of his stuff in the medals forum. All of his work is excellent.

At the Wooster, OH coin show someone had a display case full of hobo nickels. Some were just off the wall awesome. Only one dealer had a hobo for sale, it was in the $200 range. Looked like it was a possible pocket piece for a few months/years.

See now these cool designs show who the US Mint should have got to design the Presidential dollar series, I take it these are like Dodo Eggs in the UK, impossible to get one?
