Hi sometime ago i bought this nice balance for British sovereigns and 1/2 sovereigns. Can somebody tell me the period this balance was used? My guess would be arround 1830-1890?

Many thanks Gr Robbert

Looks like a set made by William Tabberer of Birmingham, who made sovereign balances between 1825-1843. WT It should be engraved across the scale, It would also have the Georgian crown on it.

Hope that this is of some help.
