Why is it always that the nicer design gets replaced by something not so.. err... nice? Compare the heads of the eagles, the 1860 looks much better.

The common type had a die crack at 9'o'clock 
The main different detail I think it is at Moskow's coat of arms (St George killing the dragon), there the design's differences are evident.
