My mother found this coin/token/medal in her jewelry box and we have no idea what it is. It appears to be from France during the 1700's. Can anyone help me identify and possibly value this item? Thank you.

It's a decime from the Bordeaux mint. L'an 8 is 1799-1800 and my Krause (KM 644.8) says 7.50 for very good, 15.00 for fine, 35.00 for very fine and 150.00 for extra fine. I'm a notoriously tough grader so I'll leave that for others opinions. Nice coin, and welcome! smile.gif
