Does anyone know if, since 2006 is over, there will no longer be 2006 Silver Eagles for sale on that website? If not, when will 2007 be available, and also, (I will post in "Want to Buy" forum later) anyone have single eagles I can gank?

On a similar vein, which is a better buy - proof or uncirculated Eagles (or is it more a matter of opinion)?

Thanks all!
Kathryn

If I'm not mistaken, uncirculated eagles are bought more by bullion investors and proofs by collectors. I'd go with uncirculated because, though there will always be a ton of eagles on the market, I'd guess there are more proofs than uncs... hence the better buy, in my opinion.

The 2007 Proof silver eagles are scheduled for release March 27th, 12 Noon, $29.95.
The Uncirculated should follw shortly(within 30 days).

Do you want proofs or uncs? I probably have a few random unc eagles I could let go of. As for the mint schedule, they usually keep the prior year sets available until the current year is released, unless there is a hard sell out like the 2006-W eagles.

Soo.. about UNC's being available:

The schedule says June 13th for the Unc.
slowly but surely
Yeah, it's a couple weeks until the UNCs are out, but they are shipping the Proofs out pretty quick. I got mine a little over a week after I ordered it.

They had the 2006 UNCs available until pretty recently. You must have just missed them.

I think I first tried checking for UNCs when I first posted this thread, which was in Mid-March... when did they become unavailable?

I thought they sold out of the 2006-W unc back in December or January.
