Seems like a very tough coin to get although I don't actively collect pyataks. The coin was overstruck on another pyatak but I can't really tell the underlying year.

No, this is not an overstrike but a negative impression of the other side - not too rarely seen with those. The coin is indeed pretty rare, I do not dare foresee exchanging it for a nicer one. Attaching enhanced pictures. Sigi

NICE COIN. rare enough to disregard that cut. As to saber, unless you did it yourself, it is probably a shovel cut -- looks pretty fresh. :-)

You may be right - I found it in my shoe after having shoveled pyataks into the new annex for the third day. Now nearly half of the job is done, window allows already some daylight coming in.
