I have a 1900 Newfoundland 20 cent coin. I saw one on e-bay with a price of $5000 U.S. Anyone know if
that is an average value? Also can anyone direct me to a website which displays estimated value of coins.
Thanks

It depends greatly on the grade of the coin that you have. If possible, please kindly post a picture of the coin that you have and perhaps someone here will be able to tell you a better catalogue value.
Welcome to coinpeople by the way!

A typical circulated one in "very good" condition would retail for about $8.
Four digit prices would be retail for mint-condition pieces.
