Looks genuine to me. Check out this link: http://www.numismat.ru/cgi-bin/encatalog.cgi?year=1862

But I don't know how you tell if the picture is really from the seller. I guess you could try the Paypal buyer protection plan. I would stay away from risky sellers like this for a purchase of $1200 plus dollars.
