Full Version: Holy Prophet Year Coin minted in Iran

LONDON, February 3 (IranMania) - Secretary and Spokesman of Holy Prophet's Commemoration Headquarters said that Central Bank of Iran CBI) has minted a coin on the occasion of nomination of this year after Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), IRNA reported.

Ali-Reza Mokhtarpour added in an interview with IRNA, "Based on a ratification of this headquarters, and simultaneously with celebrations marking 29th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the CBI has minted the coin."

He reiterated, "In order to commemorate the exalted Personality of Prophet Muhammad in the year named after him in Iran our quarter's Executive Affairs Committee prepared the design for the coin, and presented it to the CBI, that cooperated with us like all other organs."
