It looks odd but I checked on the original buyer and it apparently was a hijacked account, probably by a bored teen-ager. He did this to other sellers as well.

I was recently notified by eBay that my account had been subject to repeated attempts to hack into it and they asked that I change passwords, which was done. About 2 years ago someone did hack into my account and made some bizarre bids, which stopped when the hijacking was discovered and the password changed.

A friend of mine had her account hijacked and the perpetrator posted a fake sale of a John Deere tractor, complete with photo. That hijacking took almost a month to straighten out.

Right, most likely honest seller with 100% feedback got screwed. Now selling again. But what about the coin. Does it look authentic and problem free? For me it seems at least cleaned and with those pictures I can't say for sure on authenticity.

It seems that the reverse was brushed against something. What is more concerning is probably the upper right side of the double head eagle - perhaps it has been in some kind of jewellery mount? Not too sure how it's done but I don't think that kind of rim is normal.
