Identify countries and denominations of coins in the image above. If the same element is shared on multiple denominations I will accept any denomination.

You can post again after I post which coins were identified.

Still more than I knew. biggrin.gif By the way, if member A has nine right guesses, and then comes B and guesses the remaining one right, who would be the winner, A or B? You don't want to break a prize into pieces, and certainly not when it's a coin, hehe.

Very true, but I guess it boils down to who can guess the last most difficult one.

The next contest is going to be much more difficult. diablo.gif

How on earth did you figure that out?
BiggAndyy
Maybe next contest you can show a coin extremely zoomed out (say from google earth perspective) and then slowly zoom in till someone guesses the coin?

I'll start...

#5 or all of them? For number 5, it looked like a cow/bull skull, so I searched for cow/bull skull coin on google. After about 30 minutes something came up and it was what I was looking for. The Mexico guesses threw me off too.

One way to make it more *interesting* and help avoid that scenario is to report the number correct in the guess, but not *which* ones are correct (assuming the guess is for more than one coin).

When I tried one of these a while ago, I was amzed by the number of people who said it was impossible and equally amazed by the number of people making correct identifications!
akdrv
Excellent idea, syzygy. Thanks!
