Hello world.
I am a 43 year old proud ENGLISHMAN and have been collecting coins on and off for about 20 years.
I have no idea if I am sitting on a gold mine , or a pile of scrap.

Any one got any info on who can help me.
I have about a 1000 different coins from around the world , from all different ages , there is one coin I would like to know more about, it is set in a 2 inch sqaure piece of stone and has this inscription on..

THIS STONE CAME FOM HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT 1941. now I know its not worth a lot but I do not know anything about it and its driving me nuts.
I have lots of other coins , but I am such a novice at this I am scared even to get hem valued for insurance purposes.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum!

Your stone is apparently a piece of the House of Commons, which was bombed in 1941. A similar item was sold on eBay for £18.

Thanks for the welcome and the info. I did check the link to e-bay, and saw the picture. My coin and stone are in much better condition (the stone is perfectly square), also the picture on the coin is of the houses of parliament itself.

I must try the library to find out more about it. thanks again hi.gif
