Hey guys and gals.... I bought a camera last night and I wanted to take some pictures of some of the stuff I have picked up so far at fun. I bought this coin from tom reynolds one of the copper gods... It's an 1831 large cent that was struck twice. When the coin was struck the second time there was a planchet between the obverse and the dies. This coin is one of the favorite coins I have owned ever and will prob stay in my collection... but who knows with me. The coin is in an NGC VF35 holder.

WOW! That's a really cool coin that you've got there! I was looking at some of these coins and thier values online, and I saw one a lot like yours! I think it was worth a few thousand! elephant.gif ... BTW, you gonna sell it??

Here's another double struck 1831 large cent. This one is not nearly as nice as yours. (I can't show the other side because it has a 'special' feature).
