Found this blog from a fellow numismatist in India. Looks as if he has just started but his pictures and posts are a wonderful resource for the coins from this era in India.

Check out the site. I don't think he is a member here (yet). He also has several other blog formatted coin sites with great pictures as well.

I love the quote that coins should always be inspected over carpet(to prevent edge knocks)
Also Rupees are a bargain (same size as Florins but only a few £)
I've bought a few over the last 10 years.

Superb post, I'm always on the look out for an 8 Annas coin, unfortunately never seen one on eBay UK

Great post and looks like a very interesting site, have to agree with Johnny about the elusive 8a sad.gif

It does come up on the German side every now and again. A friend got it over the German ebay two weeks ago. And only for 2,99€ (while it usually goes up to 20 or 30 if I remember correctly). Needless to say... I felt gutted. But he's a nice guy, so what the heck! He deserves it. smile.gif
