i don't know if this is a brockaged die cap..... or if it is just a multiple struck saucer dime. The coin has been struck more then once and prob many times.. you can see the reeding around some parts of the edge which means it was struck in the collar at one point.

my best guess is that it is a brockaged reverse die cap....

I think so too... from looking at the coin and the pictures... you can see on the brockaged side where it looks like the outline of the shape of the die in the center of the coin... this would make me suspect that it stuck to the die for a bit therefore making it a die cap.

I bought a large lot of errors today from a guy that used to work in a counting room of a bank... they used to let him replace anything he wanted for face value... so he got some pretty neat stuff, this was in there.
