Found this while surfing on the net oneday. Is this note for real?

It looks real to me. It is probably from the 1950's or so. I don't have my reference books handy but I do not doubt that it is real from the scan. If you look closely, it shows the "Thomas de la Rue" name on the bottom as the printer.

It is a pretty nice note with a lot of symbolism in it. Curiously, I have two 1963 notes from Paraguay that went from a version of Orange to Green as well in the 1960's. Must've been a sale on green ink at the printers or something.

I have seen this note in ebay some time back. A really stunning note. Lots of detailed engraving.

I like the design of the note. Wouldn't mind having one of them.
