Hi guys,
I got a 2 pfennig piece from 1962G of iron with messing, instead of bronze. Does anyone of you know the price of this coin?

1962??? In my Gunter Schon/Gerhard Schon catalogue "Kleiner Deutscher Munzkatalog" 32 ed. 2002 are shown only from 1968 plated steel 2 pfennig coins. Exists and 1967G platted steel, 520 ex. at a price of 1900euro. But nothing about 1962G "Stahlkern".

The 2 Pf 1962G was Cu950 Sn40 Zn10; the later issues (1968-1996) were copper plated steel. The Jaeger also lists the 1967G "error" piece which apparently was issued in that year's proof sets only.
