Full Version: Half-brassed Canadian cent
This Canadian cent planchet is streaked because of improper mixing of the metals. The reverse looks like it's about half brass.
Definately one of the more extreme examples I've seen.
Nice cent. I like the ones with the wood-grain effect. This is the most dramatic that I've seen.
It looks strange, or I'm wrong?

Yes the metal was not correctly mixed resulting in the dual colour of the coin. Actually this is not too uncommon and I have 1940's era US cents with the same problem.
