Not necessary. If it is Ceres type (last year of issue: 1871-1898) then it's Eugene-Andre Oudine.

Daniel-Dupuis, Jean-Baptiste was born at Blois, 15 Feb 1849; died Paris, 14 Nov 1899. Murdered in his sleep by his mentally disturbed wife. A sad end to an extremely talented engraver / artist.
