I love the foreign coin bin. There are so many good finds in there, and one can't bea the price!
Here's what I got recently.
Austrian "Ein Kreuzer", 1816, AG-FR (got it just because it's now my oldest coin in my collection
British One Penny, 1901, VF
British One Penny, 1916, VF-EF
British "Straits Settlements" One Cent, 1891, G-VG
Netherlands 2 1/2 Cent, 1959, AU (50% red, 50% brown/toned)
Swedish 2 Ore, 1936, AU (50% red, 50% brown)
Canadian 5 cent (2x), 1945, EF-AU
Trinidad and Tobago 10 Cent, 1975, proof 60 at least
Italian 20 Centisimi, 1894, VG
German 10 Pfennig, 1876, F-VF
German 10 Pfennig, 1913, EF
German "Ostafrika" 1 Heller, 1905, VF
German "Ostafrika" 1 Heller, 1912, F
Austrian 1 ?, 1894, F-VF
Canadian One Cent, 1912, VF-EF
Canadian One Cent, 1898, EF
Canadian One Cent, 1859, cleaned VG-F
Canadian One Cent, 1859, uncleaned VG-F
Spanish 100 Pesetas, 1966, VF-EF (not worth much, just got it for the 0.48oz. silver content)
All of this came to a whooping $4.75!. Nothing big or extraordinary, but can't pass up the prices for all these goodies!

That's extremely neat! Great bargain there and well done!
Nice purchases. I love bargain bins.
I guess that's what happens when you have dealers do don't deal in world coins

Swedish 2 ? (kroner?), 1936, AU (50% red, 50% brown)
Must be 2 ore (sth. like cents) because 2 kronor 1936 is silver coin and shouldn't be nor red neither brown

That is my kind of bargain bin, I would buy them all for $4.75 too.
One of my favourite bargain bin pieces was a $3 1684 Irish halfpenny, a rare date and in F-VF condition. Worth about $100 now.
Another 25¢ purchase was a 1788 Connecticut Auctori Cent in beat up condition, but still barely identifiable as such.

Those are some nice finds Cojaro. It is tough to find any big surprises in "junk" bins here. Sellers here filter their stuff fairly well. The only decent find I have ever made was at a small junk store where I bought a group of coins mainly for a few Finn coins in it, but the surprise was the Soviet ½ kopeck. It cost me $1.50.

Got to love the junk.....I mean foreign bins.
My favorite shop has 99% of their world coins toss into a 50% off bin. At least they put them in 2x2's but sadly write on them with every color of magic marker you can think of. One 2x2 has six, yes SIX, different colors used on it.
There can be some great finds in bins like those. If you look at my Best Buys topic most of the foreign stuff there has come from the same place.
The stuff you bought would cost 3x that amount at the shop I frequent. Still cheap but you basically stole those. HA HA!!

They're only 25c a piece, and the owner could care less (and does) about the foreign coins he throws in the bin. I actually discuss my findings with him (I'm a regular there) and he just happy that I found some good stuff; that, and that I'll be spending money. I actually found a British One Penny, either 1806 or 1799 in there, but I didn't get it because the only details are the outline of the head (Ed. II) and on the back about half the outline of the sitting woman.
