Any of you guys have an estimate on value?
I'm usually more focused on Civil War era for Minnesota related items

I don't know but they sure are nice looking. I'll trade you for a modern day $5 FRN and $20 FRN.

The twenty has a couple of things going for it, it is a small town and lowish serial number.
LostDutchman
the northfeild note is a pretty common note shown at $60 in fine... the wadena $20 is shown as $100 + in fine... but you might add a little for the low serial number.
LostDutchman
to add they made 209 of the wadena $20's and 2790 of the northfeild $5's

Actually, the Wadena note is a Type I; therefore, the serial number is a sheet number with 5 other notes sharing this number differing only by the prefix letter. So if Wadena $20 serial number's went up to 209 then there were 1,254 of them actually issued.
