If the title is correct, that is the following, "RUSSIA TOP RARE POLTINA HALF ROUBLE 1706 PETER I aEF XF", Peter I poltinas are NEVER for sale at 70 GBP!!! (unless the seller decided to be awfully nice and sells it that price to the first buyer or he has no clue what he's selling)

Perhaps someone knows what auction it is from?

What is more worrying is how the fonts and design styles appear differently in his own auction listing. confused1.gif

Looks like "Chinese silver" to me.

I wonder why is a B/W scan? Others scans of his auctions are in colour... but I think that he simply doesn't know much about russian coins.

I have a surprise for you, guys smile.gif

Look at this auction:

Most interestingly, this auction started Oct,30 and ends Nov, 9.

The auction for 70 GBP started 3 hours ago and would run for only 1 day. I think it's obvious that some a..hole wants to rip the people off angry-smiley-055.gif

I am more surprised that "genusik" bought it ???? Well, sh_t happens, I guess. The seller "sells" EBay pictures :-)

Ah, it wasn't too smart to cut and paste the description too - look at it, "5 years celebration on ebay" and what? The seller is just registered for one year? confused1.gif

Great job for being a fool.

I was close in putting a bid but fortunately I noticed there is something fishy about it.
