Many here probably know Bob Reis, a very helpful numismatist and dealer in Ancient and world coins in Raleigh, NC.

Here's the text of an email from him requesting help with a picture of a coin:

Hi. I'm not trying to sell anything this time. I am writing an article about Portuguese coins for World Coin News and I would like to have pictures of an ancient coin from Ebora, which was probably made in a city of the same name in Portugal. Ebora made bronze coins in the reigns of Augustus and possibly Tiberius, and I suppose there might be something from as far back as circa 100 BC or so.

If you have a coin of this place and can send me pictures in the next 24 hours please get in touch. The best images will be made on a scanner rather than with a camera. I'll give you instructions.

There will be no payment, but you will get a photo credit printed in the paper.

I will need pictures of Vandal and Visigothic coins for next month, then of the Muslim dynasties, then medieval Christian coins. My stock of images of old Portuguese coins is tiny.

Please help me if you can.

Thanks, Bob

Have him ask Victor as cngcoins.com. I'm sure they'll let him use images as long as the credit is given.
