This 1945 thailand 25 satang has a crack as shown by this negative scan



Picked this coin up three days ago at the local coin shop there were two of these coins in the half off box so i saw this one thta looked like something was wrong with it, bought the coin cheap, bought it home and took a pic then did a negative scan, the crack showed up on the top

I'm amazed at how the crack almost goes to the center of the coin

But this coin is now in my collection

Is that a die crack or a planchet flaw/crack. It looks like the actual coin it's is cracked and not a raised area of metal that would result if the die was cracked. Either way, it's a neat find!

I'll take it to the coin shop and see what they say, the crack has what seems to be bits of metal in it,i'll edit the title till i'm sure what i have
