The fakes being sold by fotbrek are so bad that nobody could possibly be fooled.....could they? doh.gif

Amongst other items currently for sale are a Constantine Rouble ($1) and perhaps the worst portrait of Catherine II I've yet seen on a fake.

Anyway, all good material for the Fakes album.

$112.50 for a bad, 50 ¢ fake. A fool and their money are parted.

Actually I did pay a fair amount for the Gangut ruble fake that I have. What is shocking is that the mass, diameter are correct, but what failed was the edging placing issue as well as the metal color problem. Else it would have fooled quite a fair amount of people.
