Some of you might have seen this one before when I showed it on rcc a few years ago.

An edge split in the reverse die has created a rather spectacular little cud. Have a look at the buffalo's forehead and you'll see exactly what I mean. Yes, it is a genuine cud and no it hasn't been fashioned artificially. From the error `experts' I have spoken with it doesn't appear that there have been any other sightings of this particular three horned creature. That doesn't mean that there aren't any out there......just that none have been found. I suspect the die must have splintered very shortly after that coin was struck otherwise I think there would have been a few reported before now.

Worth checking through your herds of buffalos to see if you too have a three horned type? smile.gif
