Commemorates the 90th year since the birth of the late author and illustrator Tove Jansson (1914-2001). Best known as an author and illustrator of children's stories, she also produced plays, wrote books, and painted. But her best known creation is the world of the Moomins, which has been reproduced in many different languages and made into an animated cartoon in Japan. She also did the illustrations for translated versions of Tolkien's Hobbit, and Lewis Carrol's Alice in Wonderland into Finnish and Swedish. She received the Hans Christian Andersen award in 1966 for her contributions towards children's literature.
