domhugman
HI. I have just taken time to sort through a large ammount of coins that i had saved from the years and have found that i hvae a full set of british 1p's from 1971 to 2009 (minus 1972 (not produced)). I can see this being a very easy to get collection, but was just wondering how much if anything (apart from the 38p) it may be worth. Many Thanks Dom Hugman
ScottO
probably not, unless they they have full lustre, they might be in the future
luke_idk
I'm a collector of 1 p coins, as well (pre and post decimal). 1972 has a 150.000 pieces mintage (only proof) so it's quite difficult to find them. Anyway, since I only like coins, minted for their original purpouse (as a mean of payment) it's not a problem to me.
