LostDutchman
hey guys and gals This coin is in a 1st pattern PCGS holder... I agree with the grade it has been assigned...(if not a little higher) but what grade is it??
Scottishmoney
How about if I correctly grade the coin, I win it
Drusus
I grade it VN on the DGS (Drusus Grading Scale)....VN = Very Nice
BiggAndyy
I am going to assume that the breaks in the luster on the reverse (buffalo's shoulder) are just scanner artifacts and say this is a 63.
Burks

LostDutchman
the pictures kinda suck the coin is in an old old old pcgs ms64 holder.... it has been sent in to ngc for a re/up grade
gpnyc
Its a nice MS-64 but I don't think its Gem material. Fields look clean but way too many small hits on the high points. I'd be surprised if NGC gave it MS-65. I hope I'm wrong... good luck!
Burks
Gpnyc, with some of the coins I've seen in NGC holders, there's a chance it will go 65. For some reason they seem a bit "loose" on their Buffalo grading. Do you agree? Could be just me though. Just my experience.
thedeadpoint
What is the answer?

Brandon746b
The strike looks great! It looks like an EF-AU in my opinion
