Dengshan
Good Saturday to all! Sometimes we come across coins or banknotes in languages we don't even know the alphabet... Why don't we create a list of forum members with their language abilities? So we could easily contact them in case of doubts... Every member could reply to this topic indicating which languages he can read. Have a nice day!

Art1.2
This is a wonderful idea. Unfortunately for me the answer is English.
constanius
Unfortunately, when your mother tongue is English being unilingual seems to come so naturally ergo I am no help. Good idea though
ikaros
A smattering of German and Russian, although I usually resort to Google Translate anyway. And a little (very little) Polish by osmosis from my grandparents and by extension from Russian.
frank
French and Spanish. There are other CPeeps who can read Russian, Greek, some Asian languages, Arabic... just have to get them to see this thread.
ikaros
Oh, and about a dozen kanji, and Japanese numbers -- though I still get confused between 7 and 8, which is awkward since 昭和三十八 is my birthyear, and 昭和三十七 is not.
