CoinCollectionGuru
Hey guys, I found this 18[somthing]2 Russian 2 kopeyek coin, it in pretty rough shape and I was wondering if anyone can tell me it has any signs of bronze disease? (Sorry about the poor quality, its the best my note 3 can do :/)
sigistenz
This is copper - the Russians did not strike bronze coins. The discoloration looks like verdigris. Sigi .
gxseries
I don't think it's verdigris. It looks more like some kind of crust which you may be able to pry a bit off with toothpick gently. I don't think this is a scarce coin but it doesn't hurt to preserve it where possible.
