sphynxc4
In a Friday, Aug 15, 2008 file photo, currency, part of the artifacts collection of the Titanic, is shown at a warehouse in Atlanta. After years of litigation over the wreck and its artifacts, U.S. District Judge Rebecca Beach Smith is expected to rule soon on the largest collection of Titanic salvage. The judgment—in one of the nation's top maritime courts—is intended to ensure the 5,900 pieces of china, ship fittings and personal belongings won't end up in a collector's hands or in a London auction house, where some Titanic artifacts have landed. thedeadpoint
Very cool. I figure (for several reasons) they can't attribute these to their original owners' next of kin.
ckap07
Wow those are beautiful notes. I would love to get my hands on those. I am a big Titanic fanatic
ikaros
I guess the cold is a better preservative than the salt water is a corrosive... if asked to bet on what would be left of paper money by now on the Titanic, I would've cheerily wagered on 'mush'.
