wabnoles
Hey everyone Was going thru a couple junk buckets the other day. The person knew I liked foreign silvers and so mentioned that they had two Spanish pesetas that they would sell for melt. I looked only at the front and saw what I thought was an 1884 and 1885 Spanish peseta. Even at that price that these coins, it was a really good deal. It wasn't until I got home and saw the back side of them that I realized what I had were not Spanish but rather 2 Philippines 20 centavos. The 1884 is actually the second rarest of this particular design and I have seen this coin priced at over $80 altho the sold listings vary.
