rmscoinguy
hello. im new here, and I need some help with this one. I found a 1868 indian head cent in my coins that is very strange. the reverse shows only a inverted obverse, everything is backwards and depressed into the coin. it has no traces of the normal reverse side image. any info on this, value, is it a brockage? etc would be greatly appreciated. cool
I think it is the one cent coin like this one. Yours like the above one was minted in Philadelphia as it has no mint mark. The coin you have is pretty valuable. For more information you can go to this website: http://coins.about.com/library/US-coin-values/bl-US0001-Indian-Head-Penny-Values.htm Oh, and welcome to the forum!
