SWISS89
Hi, In the standard Catalog of World Paper Money you can find "banknotes" from AAFES (ARMY AND AIR FORCE EXCHANGE SERVICE). As far as I know these AAFES pogs just can be used in AAFES shops in U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force camps all over the world. Are these AAFES pogs the modern US Military Payment Certificates? Here some examples of AAFES pogs. http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/uploads//post-146-1182222113.jpg

Art1.2
These are wonderful. I've heard about them and seen a few but never anything as extensive as this. They'd surely make a wonderful collection.
SWISS89
Unfortunately just have about 10 pogs in my collection, but I will buy some more. I really like them.
henare
These are wonderful. I've heard about them and seen a few but never anything as extensive as this. they're definitely interesting. they are, of course, supposed to replace coins ... they feel kinda weird as coin replacements. Scottishmoney
I got mine from members that were spending time over in the sandbox, also got some of the then brand new Afghan and Iraqi coins. I am going to have to update my collection of POGS from what I see above.

armysgti
Good Morning ! Seems as if this string has died regarding AAFES POGS. if there is any one here that still collects or has interest, let me know. I am still trying to put three sets together. 497 different POGS. Thanks for the read... Tracy
armysgti
Fellow Collectors .... AAFES POGS are still being used. Due to the issue of the Eagle Cash Card, you are seeing less and less of the Pogs. They have created quite the rush on Ebay also .. Some Single Pogs going from 35 cents to over 100.00 dollars.. 6th Printing Dimes, total $1.20 sold for $425.00 .... If you know of someone that might be interested .... please pass my info on to them. Thanks for the read. Tracy
