How to edit photos?

Recommended Posts

I've been looking for some coins and the photos that I did ages ago (probably more than 2+ years ago) were hideous. I can browse them through the normal page but not when I log in. Is there any way to do this? The same applies about deleting as well.

In omnicoin you can edit the entry. When you get the photo section choose "reset" you can then select a new entry for the photo and upload the image(s). Seems to work ok for me. I gave it a try a few minutes ago.

Deleting from omnicoin is straight forward. If the photos are on CoinPeople, I'm not sure. I can edit all of my old posts and change them but I don't know if that's because I'm a mod.

Even I can edit my old posts.

If you guys will let me do it, you would probably let anyone do it.

Seriously, I recently reworked the organization of my website's US coin photos and looked for every post I could think of where I'd included a link and repointed those links. Some of those go back many months. (If I have _any_ posts out there with missing photos, let me know; I'll fix them.)

Art, I probably didn't describe my trouble very well...

When the coins in omnicoin that I want to edit are around 50 to 100 pages away, I cannot just sort by country and then by year which I used to previously. Unless I search for the coin that I want to edit and change the url address manually, I don't see any other way of doing this.

I think I understand now. It's not the mechanics of the update it's the cumbersome process that's the problem. I have to agree with you. First I think omnicoin needs a much richer search engine. Also when you update a new url is assigned so anything you've shared on other boards is lost. UGH!.

Hopefully Anton will read this and find a solution.
