thedeadpoint
1946-S 10C MS66 Full Bands 1947 10C MS66 Full Bands 1957 10C PR68 Cameo The Omaha Bank Hoard as explained by a collector on CollectorUniverse: A client in Omaha, who has been guaranteed anonymity, sold Heritage 2000+ gem original rolls of Washington quarters, Roosevelt Dimes, Franklin Halves, and Walking Liberty halves, etc.. All the rolls were originally purchased at the Omaha National Bank, and had been stored in a vault since the individual started buying rolls during the year of issue back in the late 1930's. I own several coins from that hoard. They are cheap and easy to find, always in great condition. Added them to my collection because I think they are undervalued (but not investment worthy). Art
I picked this up for my Anniversary Signature Set - 1975 was our 10th Anniversary. It's listed in that set and in my NGC Roosevelt Dimes Registry set as well.
Art
This is another member of my Anniversary Set and Proof Registry Set as well.
Art
Picked this up on ebay this evening.
thedeadpoint
Very nice coins and the pics are great too. Thank you, Art. Heritage has a handy "My Collection" feature - they show all the relevant information about the coin and my purchase and include the pictures they used for the lot. I have trouble photographing slabbed coins, so I just used their images! Not my work!
kanga
I won't show any pictures because: 1. I only have a few of them imaged 2. I have a complete set of silver Roosevelts (1946-1964) That's too many to image and post. All my business strikes are PCGS or NGC MS-66. All my proofs are PCGS or NGC MS-67. I wanted matched sets. kanga
I'll bet they're beautiful. I can understand wanting a matched set. It's very pleasing to the eye. Thanks. I did it because: 1) like some said, IMO they are undervalued. 2) therefore it's inexpensive to complete. I feel the same way about Jefferson nickels through 1964. Art
I have to agree on the Jeffersons. I've got my grandson putting together a Jefferson set from circulation. He loves it when he finds coins from the 30's, 40's, and 50's.
thedeadpoint
Kanga, I'd love to see the better coins in your set! The reason we made this thread is to honor the series! Hiding your coins doesn't help!

Art
Is that gold toning, Art? Haven't gotten the coin, but I think it's just poor lighting.
Finn235
Not as nice as the ones you guys have, but I'm rather fond of the toning on this old soldier. Saved from circulation about 3 months ago.
Art
That '46 is a great circulation find.
